Local college roundup: Richard Stockton field hockey sets single-season school record for wins
The Richard Stockton College women’s field hockey team set a program wins record with a 6-0 victory over host Goucher in Baltimore, Md., on Thursday.
The Ospreys improved to 8-5, breaking the previous record of seven wins set in 2005 and matched in 2006.
Jenny Carpenter scored twice to lead Stockton, while Alicia Leadbeater recorded a goal and two assists.
Nancy White , Susie Balidemaj and Brittany Iveson also scored.
Balidemaj scored her ninth goal, which leads the Ospreys.
Goalies Liz Stankiewicz and Taylor Snyder combined for seven saves.

Atlantic Cape Community College men’s soccer: Buena Regional graduate Dom Crowell had two goals and an assist to lead Cumberland County College past Atlantic Cape 4-0. Cumberland’s Mike Angel scored his first collegiate goal.
